Residency
El concepto de la residencia se basa en tres módulos fundamentales: habitar, crear y exhibir. Habitar el espacio implica una integración total con el entorno, lo que permite que la cotidianidad y el quehacer artístico se entrelazan de manera orgánica. Crear en este contexto se ve potenciado por la inmediatez y la intimidad del entorno, facilitando una concentración plena y un flujo continuo de ideas. Exhibir en el mismo espacio donde se habita y se crea no solo cierra el ciclo del proceso creativo, sino que también permite una interacción directa y genuina entre la obra y su entorno inmediato.
Estos módulos pueden también ser seleccionados de manera individual o combinada según las necesidades y preferencias del residente. Es posible usar el lugar para habitar, como atelier para trabajar, como espacio para exhibir o para todas estas actividades a la vez.
El espacio comprende un loft básico, con dormitorio, cocina y baño, además de un extenso estudio que, a su vez, se configura como área de exhibición.
El Observatorio Atelier ofrece residencias de 1 a 6 meses. Los residentes tienen total libertad para trabajar de forma independiente si utilizan el espacio para vivir y/o trabajar. Estamos disponibles para responder cualquier consulta y ayudar en la adaptación al área. Además, proporcionamos asistencia, orientación y difusión para aquellos interesados en exhibir su trabajo.
Se extiende una invitación formal a artistas e investigadores de todas las disciplinas y procedencias. Los interesados en formar parte de esta residencia deben enviar una propuesta de proyecto al correo electrónico proporcionado, detallando sus aspiraciones y objetivos durante el periodo de residencia.
The concept of the residency is founded on three fundamental modules: living, creating, and exhibiting. Living in the space involves a complete integration with the environment, allowing daily life and artistic practice to intertwine organically. Creating within this context is enhanced by the immediacy and intimacy of the setting, facilitating full concentration and a continuous flow of ideas. Exhibiting in the same space where one lives and creates not only completes the creative process but also allows for a direct and genuine interaction between the artwork and its immediate surroundings.
These modules can also be selected individually or combined according to the needs and preferences of the resident. It is possible to use the space solely for living, as a studio for working, as an exhibition area, or for all these activities simultaneously.
The space includes a basic loft with a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom, as well as an extensive studio that also serves as an exhibition area.
The Observatory Atelier offers residencies ranging from 1 to 6 months. Residents have complete freedom to work independently if they use the space for living and/or working. We are available to address any inquiries and assist with acclimatization to the area. Additionally, we provide assistance, guidance, and promotion for those interested in exhibiting their work.
A formal invitation is extended to artists and researchers from all disciplines and backgrounds. Those interested in participating in this residency should submit a project proposal to the provided email address, detailing their aspirations and objectives for the residency period.
